Two years ago I got to teach a legal adult how to fly a kite and it was the best goddamn afternoon in Toronto I’ve ever had. The next time you find out that someone doesn’t know something you consider to be a fundamental experience or work that they are now expressing interest in or it seems like something they’d like, minimize your incredulity as effectively as you can and then immediately get to work on ensuring this person has a nice day with you
